PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
J. Schifani was a staff accountant with a large local CPA firm in Houma, Louisiana; prior to joining Cannon & Company in March, 1984. From January, 1982 until February, 1984, Mr. Schifani performed duties including taxes, auditing and financial services. He worked extensively in the area of governmental accounting including audits of grants, municipalities and other state funded agencies.
Presently, Mr. Schifani's duties at Cannon & Company include taxes, auditing and financial services with heavy emphasis on auditing, review and compilation services. He has supervised the audits for a number of medium sized companies in the heavy metals, construction, manufacturing, not-for-profit, retail, pension and profit sharing plans, and life care industries.
