PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE  

Duties at Cannon & Company have included auditing, management services, and taxes. Principally Mr. Curbo has performed and supervised audits in a variety of fields including retail, wholesale, manufacturing, non-profit, and health care. Management service duties have included consultation on mergers and acquisitions, streamlining of clients' accounting systems, analysis of the causes for unexpected financial trends or ratios, development of budgeting systems, preparation of forecasts for external financing, cash management, and litigation support.

Mr. Curbo was manager of general accounting for an international direct sales organization prior to joining Cannon & Company in January, 1979. Previously he had been a financial analyst for the same firm. From September, 1975, until September, 1977, Mr. Curbo was management analyst then chief of the management and budget division for an Air Force Wing.

   
GOVERNMENT AUDIT, MAS, OR RELATED EXPERIENCE  

At Cannon & Company, Mr. Curbo has supervised the audits of a number of governmental entities. Primarily these have been proprietary funds and not for profit governmental grant recipients audited under OMB Circular A-133.

As management analyst, Mr. Curbo coordinated development of budget for Air Force Wing, analyzed variances versus that budget, and recommended corrective actions.

As financial analyst and then accounting manager for an international group of corporations, Mr. Curbo prepared financial analyses of proposed marketing incentives, prepared lease versus buy analyses, and developed budgets and five-year projections. Later duties involved managing the payroll, tax, and accounting functions for these firms including preparation of consolidated financials and conversion of foreign financials to U.S. dollar equivalents.
