David Cuicchi
joined the Memphis office of the international accounting firm, Arthur Andersen &
Company, upon graduation from law school in December, 1972. He worked exclusively in the
tax area and had extensive experience in the taxation of manufacturing concerns, retail
stores, banks, and individuals. In January of 1978 he joined Peat, Marwick, Mitchell &
Company (Memphis office) as Tax Supervisor where his duties included tax planning for
several large corporations.
In April, 1979, Mr. Cuicchi assumed the position of Tax Manager
and Treasurer of Highland Investment Corporation, which managed the multi-million-dollar
assets of a Memphis family. He provided tax research, planning, and supervision of tax
return preparation for both corporations and individuals, and dealt frequently with the
trust departments of several Memphis banks.
Mr. Cuicchi joined Cannon & Company in January of 1982.
Since that date he has continued to work in the area of tax planning and research. In 1984
he was named Tax Director and in 1992, he assumed the position of Managing Director at
Cannon & Company.
